Bars around Zurich

A Saturday-night-cocktail or an after-work beer Zurich offers many different type of bars for everybody. Doesn't matter if it's a easy get together or pre-partying, in the bars of Zurich you will always have a blast.

Acid Café

Café during the day and bar spot at night. Located right at the night life mile Langstrasse, Acid offers coffee, snacks and bites.

Brick

One of the cooler bars at Langstrasse, mostly crowded but awesome drinks.

Also a good place to go after eating some Dim Sum at the Lucky Dumpling, because it's just around the corner.

Cabaret Voltaire

If the Münsterbar is too crowded just go the next door: Cabaret Voltaire.

A bar in the style of Dadaismus, mostly filled with poetic people.

Still a cool place for a bar tour with friends.

Corazon

In a side alley of the Niederdorf this bar offers basic cocktails and a place for having a chat, because it's not too loud. If you get there early you may can catch one of the cozy sofa places.

The Felix Bar is a cozy small bar, with great signature drinks next to the train station Wiedikon. Recommendation: Go for Dinner at Bebek and afterwards head to the Felix Bar, because it's right next to each other.

Franzos

A small bar only 3 minutes from the Zurich main station. So perfect for a drink before you catch the last train home.

Franzos turned also into one of my favorite places, because it is never too crowded and you can have great conversations.

Also one of my preferred drink: Parigot , a pimped up Gin Tonic.

Lovely little bar with view on the Limmat, also it's next to an erotic store. Great drinks - fair prices. 

Münsterbar

A cool bar in the middle of the Niederdorf. Whether beer, wine, whiskey or gin, they can mix you every drink you like. Unfortunately, it is pretty crowded on weekends - so take a drink on a Tuesday night.

OOO

I already mentioned the OOO's in the restaurant. They have a cool menu of special drinks so perfect for an after work cocktail above the rooftops of Zürich. Also in summer you can sit outside and enjoy the view over the city.

This bar close by the Limmat offers a huge range of drinks,cocktails and any alcohol you can think of. The bar has quite bad internet connection, so you have some time for talking.

My recommendation: The Strawberry Club.

Old Fashion Bar

Feels like a throwback to the 80's, where the restaurant firstly was opened.

They serve many good drinks, my preferred Basil Smash and as well delicious pommes allumettes.

Onyx Bar

I actually do not like hotels bars, but the Onyx Bar is quite a cool one.

Also perfect for an after-work drink, because it's a calm but classy atmosphere.

Puro

This place is a little more high end, so if you feel like dressing up a little - this is the place to be. I like the style of the ambiente the Puro provides. If you feel more like going for a coffee,  you'll find the Milchbar across the courtyard.

Raygrodsky

Looking for a little more special drinks and not only the basics - Go There -

At Raygrodsky's they offer a lot of creative drinks, like the "Hot Russian"

or the "Tom Kah Ray". In the heart of the Lochergut, it has a central location, for example when coming from Tenz Momos or from the Negishi or The Butcher.

This small little bar with around 5 tables, has become one of my favorite bars. 

Comfortable atmosphere and super friendly service. Fancy drinks and a huge selection of fine Gins. My favorites: Strawberry Basil Smash & Xu's Lemonade.
